Resilience

The most common element of wisdom that we found in the interviewees was resilience. It was being able to navigate life’s obstacles with grace. Resilience is knowing that you can do it. Life will throw you obstacles and its important to know that regardless of how big or small the obstacle, it is manageable What helps in tackling an obstacle is knowing that it did not happen to you but for you. When things seem to be going wrong and when your life seems to be encountering great turbulence, think of the bigger picture. These experiences help us become stronger, smarter, more resilient, and thus wiser, It’s easy to question, why? or why me? But asking, why not me? and knowing you can handle it, will lead to greater resilience.
